To the United States may impose additional tariffs on Chinese raised floor

On whether the U.S. government is preparing to imports from China imposed additional tariffs on access floor to make a decision. This is between the two countries and a trade dispute. 

 

Last October, eight U.S. flooring manufacturer to the U.S. Commerce Department (Commerce Department) made their desire to multi-layer raised floor in China tariffs. According to the wholesale price of imported goods and U.S. manufacturers to calculate shipping, the United States multi-layer raised floor in 2009 a total market size of about 736 million.

 

The American company claimed that the Chinese raised access flooring manufacturer to obtain subsidies from the Chinese government, and the fair value below the price of products in the U.S. market dumping.

 

U.S. Department of Commerce is scheduled to make a preliminary decision this month, and in May to decide whether to impose additional tariffs on Chinese raised floor as well as specific tax issues. Trade lawyers said the final decision may be announced 10 or November.

 

Currently the U.S. imports of raised floor from China 8% of the average tariff imposed.
